Matutine.
Macy Vase (better known by her stage name Matutine) is a British vocalist, song writer, textile designer, and model. She is part of an experimental collective, MMM, together with producer Hyde Thomas, and rapper Trash Tommy.
Matutine currently resides in London.
Matutine was born in Hackney, East London on May 10th 1991. Whilst studying at London College of Fashion, Matutine was spotted by BMA Models and began to take part in modelling gigs. Using this to her advantage, Matutine used her networking skills to their full potential and finally landed a contract signed under Glassnote Records in 2011. Attracting the male audience due to her model qualities and appealing to the female audience due to her chilled beats and unusual voice, Matutine brings something new to music scene and is bringing the 'New Wave' genre to the young generation.
After releasing several mixtapes herself; her first album for the label 'M-', is to be released on December 2nd, 2013. 'M-' is expected to be well received by critics and has already gathered attention from publications such as Complex, with the album expectedly making a late appearance in their 2013 best albums list.
